  160.   I thought using this mail from EA would be a perfect way to promote the 
  161.   Top 100 among the Internet community, so I sent mail to Colin and got this 
  162.   answer:

  166.   > takes its users seriously. We always want comments, be it praise or 
  167.   > critisism. Then we know if we are doing something good or bad. If a

  169.   > games aren't then why not. Email is one of the best ways as the people 
  170.   > involved end to have more of a passion about things.

  174.   I like to show these messages to the voters for the Top 100 so they know
  175.   that their votes are being taken seriously by the software publishers.
  176.   Other people on the net might be convinced to join in and start voting
  177.   for the Top 100 right away. (Ask me for the details about how to do this.)

  179.   Just for the record, EA is not the first company that appears to read the
  180.   Top 100. Up till now I got mail from: SSI (Matt), Interplay (Chris),
  181.   Origin (Chuck), Microprose (Quentin), Accolade (Tomi), Maxis (Peter),
  182.   LookingGlass (Marc LeBlanc), Apogee (Joe Siegler), Id (Romero), Access,
  183.   New World (Steve Shannon) and Microsoft (Glenn). There are more companies 
  184.   that get the Top 100, but they haven't replied yet.
